Andrew McMillan

Andrew is a biologist for Fisheries and Oceans Canada and an honorary member of the shallow-water lab. His current work supports the establishment of a marine protected area network in the northern shelf bioregion off the coast of British Columbia. Andrew has worked on assessing regional patterns in marine species trawl-catch assemblages using machine-learning models and the inclusion of species assemblages into species distribution modelling.
